I think this would be more scary than fun. Can you imagine everyone's video pets flying around getting into accidents with each other? haha!
This could be exciting at first, but then pretty intrusive and I bet it would constantly crash into doors. And like a lot of cool tech toys, it would need regular design revisits for the same concept.
I also like the fluidity and context of their video & data retrieval systems, very Minority Report style.
This is an awesome idea to create visionary movie scenarios with current research prototypes.
