Anatoly Churikov did an internship with me last summer at the Microsoft Applied Sciences Group. Soon I will be able to talk about his cool project he did there, but right now I want to share his newest project, the duo3d! It is a Do-it-yourself kit to do super precise 3D motion. He and his teammates will launch a kickstarter campaign soon, stay tuned!

Cool! I am in Marie Claire Italy!
I just found out that Marie Claire Italy featured me in their December issue!
It says:"
Not bad, and I am carrying my baby!

Modular electronic coolness!
Another really cool project from fellow MIT Media Lab friend Michael Rosenblatt. Modular electronic blocks to make things that move and sense, with various level of difficulty. I can't wait to try the kit with my daughters ;) Congrats to the team!!
It is on kickstarter, but be quick, you can get the early first kit

Great idea for Halloween!
Spiders trapped in a maquette of a building, then retro-projected from the inside of the building. Very scary!!

Making the Invisible Visible in Video
MIT researchers — graduate student Michael Rubinstein, recent alumni Hao-Yu Wu '12, MNG '12 and Eugene Shih SM '01, PhD '10, and professors William Freeman, Fredo Durand and John Guttag — will present new software at this summer's Siggraph, the premier computer-graphics conference, that amplifies variations in successive frames of video that are imperceptible to the naked eye.
See the researchers' full video and learn more on the project's webpage: http://people.csail.mit.edu/mrub/vidmag/
